What is SPORTPOKER?
SPORTPOKER is a sport poker platform: a listing of clubs and tournaments, online registration, a live timer, player ratings, achievements and club chats. You find a club, sign up for a tournament and follow the game right in the app.
Is this even legal?
Yes. The platform hosts sport poker tournaments: contests played for tournament chips, with no money prizes. Participants compete for rating points, titles and non-monetary club awards. Participation is open to adults only (18+).
What is the org. fee and why is it charged?
The org. fee is the entry fee for a tournament. It covers running the game: hall rent, the work of dealers and judges, equipment. The org. fee is not a bet: it pays for the service of organizing the tournament, like the entry fee in any sports competition.
What is a playing stack?
A stack is the number of tournament chips you receive when you enter a tournament. The chips have no monetary value: they are the playing points you use at the table. When you run out of chips you are out (in re-entry tournaments you can enter again).
What is late registration?
It is the window after the tournament starts during which you can still register and take a seat. The club sets its length β you can see it on the tournament page. Once late registration closes, no new players are admitted.
How long does a tournament last?
It depends on the structure: a regular club tournament takes 4β6 hours. Play runs in levels with rising blinds and breaks β the current level and time are always visible on the tournament screen and the club board.
I have never played poker. Should I come?
Of course. Sport poker is the friendliest way to get to know the game: you only risk the org. fee, never money on the table. Club staff will explain the rules, and you can learn the basic hands in 10 minutes in our Knowledge base.
How are rating points awarded?
For every tournament you earn points based on your finish, the size of the field and the tournament level; knockout formats add points for the opponents you knock out. Rating is counted by season β the tables live in the βRatingβ section of the club and the venue.
What are achievements?
They are club awards for results at the table: wins, runs of final tables, knockouts and other events. Each club configures its own achievements; the badges you earn are shown in your profile.
How do I sign up for a tournament, and what is the seating queue?
Registration opens on the tournament page β one tap. If every seat is taken you join the seating queue: as soon as a seat frees up you get a notification and time to come to the registration desk.
What are club promo codes?
Clubs issue promo codes for a discount on the org. fee or on a menu item. The codes you receive are kept in your profile β show the QR code at the desk to redeem it.
How do I contact support?
Tap βMessage supportβ below β a chat with the platform team opens right in the app. We reply daily from 10:00 to 22:00 (Moscow time). Questions about a specific tournament are answered faster in the club chat or by club staff on site.
